  2. Make sure that your mobile device is connected to your NETGEAR router’s WiFi network.

  1. Open your start menu and click the “Settings” button (it will be in the shape of a cog).
  2. Click Network & Internet.
  3. In the left menu, select Wi-Fi if you are connected to your router wirelessly or Ethernet if you are directly connected to your router with an Ethernet cord.
  4. If you selected Ethernet, click Network in the center menu. Scroll down and look for the numbers listed next to the IPv4 address. This is your router’s IP address.

  1. Select the ADVANCED tab at the top of the homepage. If you are using a Nighthawk Pro Gaming router, select Settings.
  2. Click Administration.
  3. Select Set Password.
  4. Fill in the box provided with your current password, then type your new password twice.
